AfroRoots x Chloë Violet: Live Performance Series

"- AFRICANA STUDIES - Africana Studies educates, mentors, and transforms students into cultural leaders, socially responsible researchers/scholars, and artists who create innovative and inclusive modes of expression. Africana Studies at Berklee also guides, equips, and challenges diverse human beings of all backgrounds to lead with a commitment to equality and justice. - Chloë Violet - Chloë Violet grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she started performing original music around the city during her childhood and cultivated her craft through music lessons, school choir, musical theater programs, and various other opportunities for young creatives. Recently, she has been performing songs that communicate her views on what it means to be liberated as an artist, woman, and lover. Her artistic spirit loudly declares vulnerability and transparency to be a superpower and she is excited to use her music to share her journey through early adulthood. You can expect a debut Chloë Violet album during these prominent years of newfound independence and artistry in the young musician's life. - Chloë Violet Show Story - This Afro Roots performance I consider to represent a journey through a divine plan. I aim to highlight the duality of feeling equipped for and in harmony with life emotionally and spiritually, while also feeling stimulated by its intensity and how it is ultimately a beautiful experience that challenges you to trust the universe and refine your idea of what you can handle, and what your fear may have lied to you about.
